This is an engaging 90 minute presentation on the emergence of criminal and sexual behaviors following a brain injury. The United States has 4.5% of the world’s population, yet houses 25% of the world’s prisoners. At any given moment there are approximately 2.2 million people incarcerated in U.S. jails and prisons. Roughly 40% of them have a diagnosable brain injury. This webinar explores current research on incarcerated inmates with a brain injury and various strategies that law makers, politicians, and treatment providers can employ to arrest this trend of incarcerating brain injured inmates.
